| Description: |
An experienced non-life actuary who has previously worked in the London Market or other major P&C market is required to head up and develop a team of actuarial,cat modelling and IT analysts in India to support the business worldwide. The ideal candidate will need to be a confident and charismatic manager who is able to inspire a new team and embed efficiency and technical advancement within the business. The areas of involvement will include: • Catastrophe modelling • Data prep for rating models • Possibly running pricing models • Rate monitoring • Risk aggregations monitoring • Actual vs Expected loss monitoring • Analysis of Surplus studies • Quantitative analysis for R&D • Ad-hoc exercises requiring data manipulation • Database and application development The role could be on a permanent basis or for a few years placement depending on the candidate. |
