| Description |
| The role will be split roughly 35-65 between Prophet/DCS and a comparison of Model and Ledger.
The Prophet/DCS consists broadly of:
Extending a piece of DCS already written for one model to other models. This piece of DCS is part of the companies Analysis of Movement project. The Prophet work is all about making sure the models can use the movement files. This is something they've already partially set up in their Prophet models – and the contract would involve extending this work.
The Model/Ledger Comparison work consists of:
Comparing premiums, claims, charges, etc in the model with those on the accounting system (ledger) – i.e. the "real" numbers.
They have already spent quite some time on this, and have a process in place. The focus for this contract will be on improving the process, and investigating both Prophet model and accounting system to try and chase down differences.
