Our Client currently has a vacant position at their head office for a Technical Marketing Specialist responsible for technical, communications and marketing positioning of the Group’s healthcare offering to various audiences in the most simple and impactful manner.
The successful candidates will also be responsible for: • Technical communication to brokers and consumers • Market comparisons & research • Market positioning • Content for articles & editorials • Group’s Health Communications Strategy • Technical product sign-off • Ability to transfer product knowledge • Ability to work independently within project guideline
Job Requirements
•Relevant communication, marketing or analytical experience • 5 years relevant working experience in healthcare industry • Relevant Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage • Partially completed actuarial qualification or CFP/FPI an advantage • Bilingual – Afrikaans & English • Intermediate knowledge of MS office: Word, Excel, • Expert knowledge of Power-point • Ability to define difficult concepts into simple messages to target markets/audiences. • Ability to develop and communicate impactful power-point slide presentations
Knowledge:
•Competitor medical scheme knowledge • Loyalty Program / Complementary product knowledge an advantage • Interpret and analyse scheme brochures, financial statements and credit rating reports • Legal and tax knowledge of health industry • Customer/market understanding • Fully functional knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint
