The above-mentioned position is currently available in the EB Re-Ratings department at client's Employee Benefits division/business unit based in Cape Town.
 
The incumbent will be responsible for:
Setting of risk rates.
Ensuring profitability of risk rates.
Assisting with measures to assess the appropriateness of the pricing bases for the respective markets.
Preparing quotes for new business and benefit changes on existing business.
Compiling claims experience for revisions/rebrokes.
Doing statistical analysis of scheme information and compiling reports/presentations.
Managing sub-projects involved in the development of the business environment.
Performing ad-hoc rerating functions.
Assisting with the operational efficiencies within Risk Actuarial.
Monitoring admin functions relating to Risk business.
Providing assistance to administration departments.
 
The applicant should meet these requirements:
Matric coupled with an actuarial degree.
Completion of some of the 100-series subjects (or equivalent subjects).
Strong analytical/ mathematical ability.
