A vacancy has opened up for someone to look after our client's premium quotation package. The Short Term Actuarial Team is responsible for the calculation of premiums on personal lines products like motor and household insurance and a premium quotation package has been created which calculates these premiums. The vacancy will involve the development, maintenance, enhancement and deployment of the quotation package.
 
The candidate will deal with internal staff from the actuarial, business and IT side and also with external staff from various intermediaries and other distribution channels.
 
The main objectives will be:
1. To work with the actuaries and the developers to implement, test and document changes to the quotation package
2. Month-end updates to the quotation package
3. Assist with day-to-day and technical queries from intermediaries and internal business users
4. Deploying the quotation package to new users.
 
The candidate will report to the manager of the actuarial team.
