MARKETING ACTUARY – GROUP BUSINESS IN THE LIFE BUSINESS UNIT

 

To be considered for appointment to the above position, candidates must be a qualified Actuary (FIA/FFA), with a minimum of 7 years Life insurance and product development experience beneficial (preferably group life/reinsurance).

 

Duties will include: • Building good relationships with clients; seeking out new relationships. • Managing profitability of key client accounts • Maintaining effective pricing/ rating systems • Establishing best practice technical and product consulting support • Developing customised consulting solutions for key clients • Gathering and collating market intelligence; advising on tactical responses to changes in • the environment • Marketing the MRoA brand to external clients; providing input to marketing strategy • Other technical support eg. stochastic modeling, statistical analyses
