Purpose
• Accountable for the design, build, unit and system test, and support of the User Acceptance Test for a product developed within a new Prophet workspace
• Accountable for the development of requisite project and Solvency II compliance Business As Usual documentation associated with changes to the systems architecture (e.g. Writing & maintenance of Procedure Manuals (User Detailed Instructions)
 
Key accountabilities
• Responsible for the estimation, planning, management and implementation of the prophet product development assigned to them.
• Providing regular status updates to the Systems Architecture Programme Lead on progress, risks and issues associated with the development.
• Liaison with Actuarial Staff / Management to confirm reporting requirements and schedules
• Planning, execution and tracking of Prophet model runs. Distribution of the output from production runs
• Manage testing of the development in the Pre-Production environment (of changed Prophet models)
 
Job related requirements, qualifications and skills
a) Strong technical background and substantial experience in developing Life Assurance products on Prophet models within the Life sector. b) Specific experience developing at least one of the following products in Prophet:
• Unit Linked
• Annuities
• With-Profits
c) Experience of working within an FSA regulated company is highly desirable
