| Job Title: Actuarial Contract Market Consistent Embedded Value work - Yorkshire |
| Description |
| A contractor required to support our MCEV work (Market Consistent Embedded Value). This needs a qualified actuary with analysis experience and strong communication skills.
- Role / skills: Reviewing experience analysis data / work from team (own team of 2 technicians Offshore Analytics staff) and writing report to recommend reporting basis changes for Q3 valuation and year end reporting.
People management skills helpful but not essential but people skills are essential (including ability to interface with senior management and range of individuals in the business). Communication skills also essential (producing a quality written report) and political skills (being able to message the report to win acceptance of all key stakeholders). We need a qualified actuary (as opposed to trainee) with (at least) some life insurance experience / background.
- Duration of contract: 3 months (Jul-Sep ideal or perhaps slightly later). |
